A friendly challenge between real estate offices resulted in a $5,000 EXIT Realty community outreach to national nonprofit, Project Alive, helping a Spring Hill family’s fight against Hunter’s Syndrome impacting their son and others nationwide. Click the video below for a great project overview.
EXIT Realty King & Associates Realtor Laura Grzegorczyk, broker Tawny King and EXIT Southeast Regional Owner Stacy Strobl  presented Melissa Hogan and her son, Case, with $5,000 raised during the short fundraising campaign. Grzegorczyk said the campaign was near and dear to her heart knowing the Hogans personally.
“This has been a challenge from a outside real estate agency that we were happy to accept and win because it supports a family in our community trying to make the difference for others while fighting to help their own son.  As a mother of three sons, I would be devastated to see them stop playing, running, laughing and talking which is how this disease progresses,” said Grzegorczyk.  “This donation represents the spirit of EXIT and is a great reflection of our owner/broker, Tawny King, who also has a huge heart for community and charity.”
Agents gathered with Grzegorczyk, King and Strobl at EXIT Realty King & Associates Spring Hill, Tennessee office to present Melissa, Case and their family with the donation for Project Alive, founded by Hogan.  King said giving back to the community, which has been such a blessing, is a part of the EXIT team’s mission.“Our office is like a family constantly helping and supporting one another. It is part of our fiber to give back to our community and I am so proud of Laura and all of our EXIT Southeast agents and EXIT Realty Corp. International for helping us make our goal,” King said.
After donations came pouring in throughout EXIT Southeast, Strobl said the call to corporate for matching funds was easy.“Donations from EXIT Southeast were received from Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee which makes me so proud of the way our EXIT family steps up to support other agents, meet any challenge and ultimately give back to our community,”  Strobl said.  “We are all lucky to be part of a larger corporation like EXIT Realty Corp. International, which recognizes and supports our efforts to support our community. We are so proud EXIT Realty King & Associates really knows how to rock the teal!"[caption id="attachment_3912" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
