The all-time EXIT Realty Corp. International record for new franchises signed has been broken by EXIT Southeast Regional, the partners announced.The regional entity for Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee as well as regional directors of Florida, the duo also earned top region for EXIT Realty Corp. International in North America at the end of 2019,  EXIT Southeast signed 38 franchises agreements, more than any other in the company’s 23-year history, Kenny explained in this video with Stacy.https://youtu.be/1xp-c9lgYdc“I feel like we have won the Super Bowl and, if you want to be the best, it takes hard-work, determination and non-stop dedication,” said Lynn. “After developing a relationship with me and Stacy, the sponsorship opportunity is the cherry on top of a solid real estate company.”Unique to the real estate industry, EXIT Realty offers a three-dimensional concept of taking listings, making sales and sponsoring agents which Lynn said has been key for a lot of agents and franchise owners during the COVID-19 quarantine.“Personally, I experienced some health challenges in the 2018 and the residual real estate income made a huge difference. This is a story we have heard repeatedly from EXIT Southeast agents, brokers and owners as everyone faced the challenge of being quarantined for weeks,” Lynn said.
The 38 new franchise owners as well as owners, brokers and agents in this four state area have the option in addition to their real estate business to also sponsor new agents which results in each transaction closed generating a bonus that’s equivalent to 10% of the gross commissions earned by the recruit and payable to the individual who sponsored them, Lynn said.With experience rooted in the real estate and home mortgage industry, Strobl said it is their mission to assist franchise owners and agents in taking full advantage of the unique EXIT formula which has re-invented real estate through a mentorship culture of teaching, training and coaching utilizing the resources of a full-service, international corporation.“Breaking this record definitely required hard-work and perseverance and I always explain it is more than a game-changer but a life-changer,” Strobl said.
EXIT Realty Corp. International CEO Tami Bonnell said the duo broke the company record and accomplished it by setting the goal.“It’s phenomenal. Kenny and Stacy broke records for our company by selling 38 franchises and they put a line in the sand,” Bonnell said at the region’s annual awards event.
In addition to breaking the company record for franchises sold, EXIT Southeast was named the top region in North America by EXIT Realty Corp. International announced at the annual convention.In 2013, they acquired the subfranchisor rights to Tennessee and led the state’s phenomenal growth resulting in their achieving region of the year for the first time just two years later.  In 2016, they acquired the rights to Kentucky, and, in 2017, they expanded to Georgia, consolidating all three states under the EXIT Southeast banner and achieving their second Region of the Year honor that same year.In 2019 they were appointed Regional Directors of Florida, expanding both their reach and vision into EXIT’s largest state.  In addition to being named EXIT Realty’s Region of the Year for 2019, they also earned top honors in franchise sales.“Our success and growth is also an indicator as to the investment strength of the Southeast. There is so much opportunity for living and working throughout the region and we excited that EXIT Southeast is at the forefront of this progess,” Strobl said.

You rise by lifting others is one of Derrick Miller’s favorite quotes and perfectly captures the spirit behind the mural the franchise owner recently had painted at his EXIT Realty Garden Gate Portland location after buying the building.[caption id="attachment_4327" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

It preserves history while adding a bright spot to the landscape.”And, this injection of positivity has gained the attention of the Nashville media in this Tennessean story, "Realtors find the fun during trying times." 
After seeing the Chamber of Commerce’s new mural, Derrick collaborated with USA Pro Art and he made sure artist Manuel Fuentes included his social media handle so people could tag them as well, @EXIT_Realty_Garden_Gate.
“The first day it was done, we posted a photo which went viral with over 12,000 hits from across the state. Although the water tower is now gone, we captured that image and added the EXIT Realty Garden Gate logo on it. I really love the way it has turned out and it is so fun seeing people snap pics in front of it.”
While Derrick embraces technology and social media, he says he is still old school and appreciates a phone call and conversation over text. He also likes to set the tone for his day and begin on a positive note with affirmations.“Daily affirmations work and I like beginning the day with a positive message. This year has been challenging in so many ways and breaking through adversity is important. Three years ago, EXIT Southeast Regional Owner Kenny Lynn experienced back-to-back health challenges and in the continuing series on breaking, he shares how he overcame this and eventually broke the all-time EXIT company record in 2019 with partner Stacy Strobl.

 Three years ago, EXIT Southeast held an annual Smart Car Race to raise money for a local nonprofit. That year, it was Feed America First. “I have been drag racing for over 30 years and toward the end of the night crashed. I ended up in the hospital for several days,” Kenny said.[caption id="attachment_4341" align="aligncenter" width="450"]
Through health challenges, Kenny said the EXIT residual checks made a huge difference and he has heard many people share this during the pandemic as well.[/caption]“Then, just three months later, I went to the hospital and was told I needed open heart surgery. These back-to-back health challenges really shook my world. I had to dig deep to figure out what my inner soul can do. I could have gone home, put my head in a pillow and hoped the world would pass me by. Or, I could come out and fight through it. I chose to fight through it,” Kenny said.One of the things which helped Kenny through this was to set a high goal. “I always believe in setting goals and I prefer to set them high. I’d rather not succeed on a very high goal than set it low and know I can easily make it,” Kenny explains. Never give up and never give up hope, says Stacy, and Kenny fought through a very difficult period of time and this should be inspiration for everyone.
“Believe in yourself. Believe in what you are doing. When you are passionate about what you are doing, it no longer becomes a job. It is something you are passionate about and it drives you to continue and persevere,” Stacy shared. “This is something we believe strongly in. We believe in our EXIT franchise owners, brokers and agents and like to share this passion with them every day!”

The state of Florida is now officially part of EXIT Southeast in an announcement made this week by EXIT Realty Corp. EXIT Southeast is the company’s fastest growing region.  In 2013, then-franchisees, Lynn and Strobl purchased the regional rights to Tennessee, adding Kentucky in 2016 and Georgia in 2017.  Since assuming ownership of those regions, they have averaged a 20% increase in growth.
